I believe you. As unfathomable as it seemed at first, I believe you. You make it clearer every post.

Irony, Andrew. Brits do it all the time. Ignore it and answer the other things I asked, if you would be so good.
Meanwhile, things have happened in the world outside Andrew's head. A whole sheaf of opinion polls are predicting 400 Tory seats and an overall majority of 150.
The BBC this lunchtime made no mentio of this (of course they didn't). Insyead they talked for half an hour about what the Labour Party was going todo when they got into power. They interviewed countless Labour people about this and one Welsh Nationalist. They interviewed nobody on the right of opinion at all, though more than half of the country are on the right.
Still, it won't matter. Things happen in the great world outside Broadcasting House over which they have no control.

Dudes, check out this excerpt from the possibly prophetic crime-thriller "The Disunited Kingdom:" https://lifeat17.wordpress.com/

So what happened to the divine Theresa, eh? And the Chancellor is Himmler, right?
Actually the fact that the female lead/heroine is, or certainly sounds like, a muslim, tells you all you need to know.
Average luvviespeak, I'd say.
What I missed was that this came out in 2003 in the age of the invasion of Iraq by Dubbya and Blair. Full cast and crew are difficult to find, which is odd.

I am concerned that a "publisher"'s website should spell the names of established authors incorrectly. Frederick Forsyth and Sebastian Faulks deserve better.
It hardly inspires trust when they charge so much for their services.

Blurb reads like a northern UKipper's bonkers fantasy. He should have stuck to his day job.

I take it this was his day job. Even the greatest don't get it right. 1984 for instance, though I have come across a woman, seemingly sane, but obviously off her trolley, who told me the television was sending pictures back. To whom? She did not elucidate.. I'm sure you can think of others.
Great fun Aaron. Meanwhile Theresa seems on course for a majority so huge even I wonder whether it is altogether a good thing. Never mind. Perhaps Kim Tubalard will blow up the world first. He reminds me of the dictator in Nabokov's Bend Sinister.

If anyone would like a dispassionate academic assessment of the claims being made by the May government and her party for the nature and purpose of the coming General Election, I recommend the following video from Professor Michael Dougan of the University of Liverpool's School of Law. Professor Dougan's regular academic commentary on the legal aspects of the 'Brexit' phenomenon are built on his and his department's substantial reputation as experts in this field.
I think it would be fair to say that not much of May's claims about the election are left standing - and just as little of her government's alleged negotiating strategy.

I never listen to professors, Nigel. I advise you to do the same. He will be a remainer because professors do very nicely now, thank you very much. Follow the money
