How about 1 and 9 (approximately the price of my first half pint of beer in old money?)

It would be lovely if points meant prizes (tea sets and such.) Sadly they don't.

Philip, you are obviosly a Young Gun. When I was seventeen or so a whole pint of heavy (Scottish beer) was 1/9 and a half pint of light was 7d (sevenpence).

Gavin Ewart (bless him) used to write single line poems. Here is one.

The guidelines say:

All poetic forms that fit the journal’s guidelines (such as haiku, senryu, sapphic, and tanaga) are welcome, but authors are not limited to these forms.

If one can write a good monostitch they might be open to that as well. It is a nicely laid out magazine, with a friendly editor, good response times, etc. and I think my two poems are in good company here.
