Default Potcake Poet’s Choice

Thanks to Robin Helweg-Larsen, who invited me to share a poem again, I've got one at Form in Formless Times today called "The Woolly Bear."

https://formalverse.com/2021/12/08/p...e-woolly-bear/

I hope people will enjoy it. Thanks again, Robin.

Nice one, Martin.

And it's about time we all raised a virtual glass to Robin, whose blog has kept giving us such occasional delights all through these interesting times. I look forward to their arrival in my inbox. Cheers, Robin.

Robin also appears in the new winter edition of The Orchards Journal (as does my Sisyphus villanelle and poems by other 'Spherians such as Terese Coe)

(and I also subscribe to and enjoy his blog)

Thanks, Ann and Joe.

I'm going to look at The Orchards. Thanks for the link.
Congrats to Joe, Terese, and Robin!

I, too, have a poem posted on Robin's blog:

Thanks, Joe, for tipping me off that the new issue of The Orchards Poetry Journal is out. I have enjoyed reading the poems in it.

Susan

Congratulations, everyone

Susan, I really enjoyed reading your villanelle, and also what you have to say about it, especially this:

"Though we live in a time in which free verse is dominant and ubiquitous, I don't think people will ever lose their innate love of the songlike in poetry, a quality that also makes poems easier to remember."

Best wishes,
Fliss
