Default Fourth & Sycamore

Maybe a month ago or so, Novick brought "Fourth & Sycamore" to my attention. They took two of my poems ("While the Foliage Sleeps" and "On Seeing A Selfie..."). The latter of these two was workshopped here.

"While the Foliage Sleeps" is particularly meaningful to me because it is one of the first poems I wrote that I was proud of when I returned to writing after about a 5-7 year lull. In many ways I think it's quite different than what I do now, but there are still really interesting ways I see what I do now reflected in it.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

Well done Andrew!

I remember the second one well, and absolutely love the phrase 'my dream-soaked father' in the first.
