Good one. Of almost every serial killer, it is said afterwards, "He was a quiet guy. Kept to himself." The trick is to look at those quiet guys sharply before they start the massacre. If we paid more attention to the communities they are part of, we would understand more about the pathology that leads to them.

It's quite a moment when David writes, "And if you think you’ve found your perfect island,/think further to what you do not see or hear." The whole poem is powerful & sobering. Great to see this, sad to see this.
