Default Shot Glass

Hello folks,

I have 2 poems in the new 'Shot Glass Journal', both of which appeared here first. There I am over on the right. Being English makes me an international poet, which also sounds exciting!

Cheers!

I like them both, but "Hulk" is particularly powerful.

I remember them. Both are good but I see myself clearly in "Old Fools." We didn't realize they were fools at first, did we?

Congrats Mark!

I remember the first, and enjoyed it afresh, and it left me humming Jimmy Mack, though the second is new to me, and is powerful, as Susan says.

That TLS shortlisting looks mighty fine in your bio by the way. And advance congrats on the forthcoming Measure publication.

Matt

Splendid, Sharkey!! Both leave a lump in my throat. Like Matt, I'll have Jimmy Mack on repeat in my head all day now!

You're such a poet. I could read a book of you.

Cally

Good poems.
Old Fools makes me think of Larkin, for some reason.

Susan, Andrew, Aaron - Thank you all very very sincerely.

John - no, we didn't. I'm glad it resonates.

Cally - one day? Thank you so much..

David - I think I nicked a title of his. Thank you.

Matt - it looks pretty good doesn't it? I fear I'm gonna peak early...really.

Cheers x
