Congratulation Siham!

You seem to me like such a lovely person, so even better that good things are happening!

And what Matt asked.

Thanks so much, dear Matt, Mark, and Nausheen!! And I asked Karen (publisher extraordinaire) who said you can purchase directly from her website from the UK. Or a little later (maybe a week) from Amazon. She said both work from the UK (I presume that includes currency). Thanks for asking.

Best,
Siham

Perhaps I should start a new thread, but this seems like an addition to it more than a new one. I’ve just got my box of beautiful new books and wondered if anyone would be interested in a signed copy? If so, just pm me. Also I’m looking for reviewers if any of you would be interested in reviewing the book, please also pm me, and I will be forever grateful. Or if you have any recommendations on where to send Review copies, I would so much appreciate that. I am aware of some of the “usual places,” but since this is my first collection (and being mostly formal) and I’m not that well known, it would be nice to have suggestions as to where to start.

Gratefully,
Siham

I'm reading this book now and enjoying it so much. There are many fine sonnets and ghazals, in particular--favorite forms of mine, although I can't get anywhere with the latter myself. My favorite so far is a poem about The Louvre, in tetrameter envelope quatrains, though. Such rich imagery and poise throughout! I really recommend it--assuming, you know, that the last two sections live up to the first three. It saw me through a most unpleasant visit to the auto repair shop this morning, and even helped me generate a poem of my own. Thanks, SK!

I'll say also that I'm reading two Kelsay books simultaneously (along with a Lucille Clifton collection) and am really impressed with the look and feel of them as books. The other is Chris O'Carroll's funny-ass book, and I'll post about it soon nearby...
