Congrats Rob, et al.

I thought Measure stopped publishing.... was that a nightmare that I had, or did it stop and start again?

Nah, Measure just maintained its long tradition of ridiculously late issues, right to the end.

(I am glad that they didn't just quit cold turkey, immediately after their announcement, though.)

Congrats indeed, Rob et al. It was a fine venue and I'm glad you had a chance to be part of it. I look forward to reading your work there.

Back to say I received my copies today, and to my dismay, there was a typo in my poem "Celebration". They printed the word "peninsular" instead of "peninsula" at the end of line 11 (the correct word rhymed with the word ah at the end of line 9).Did they think it was supposed to rhyme with the words cars and stars (lines 10 and 12)? Who knows.

And since Chris mentioned it, Susan's poem has her two instances of Virgil spelled Vergil and Virgil, respectively.

I've just begun to read the issue, and the poems by Richard Wakefield, David Mason, and Timothy Steele are simply wonderful. Looking forward to reading the rest this evening, though I am disappointed at the typo.

Thanks for the kind words and comments, Mark, Cathy, Rick, Julie, Aaron, et al. And yes, it was a real treat to be part of Measure. I look at the names on the table of contents and am quite impressed to be a small part of it. Cathy, too bad about the typo (editorial correction?) I did admire the poem very much.

Aaron and Andrew - thanks both. I was very excited to pick it up from the post office. I opened it in the pub where I wrote most of the poem, which was fun. It's a beautiful thing.
Andrew - especially in this day and age, I think.
