Thanks, Jerome. I'm reading through the issue and enjoying it very much.
The first poem (by Martin Parker) got my interest right off the bat, as I’ve watched a good deal of snooker on YouTube in the last couple of years (don’t ask why), so am familiar with the names and game tactics the poem alludes to.
Best,
Martin

Looks like a great issue. Well done.
I also have a very short and slight little rhyme in the Competition results.

Julie, thanks for adding the link, which I sometimes overlook.
Martin, your namesake will no doubt be pleased that the snooker theme 'carried' with at least one American,, though I'm hazy about the precise details of the different games on green baize.
Roger, thanks, and sorry I missed your name from announcement here but can't get the edit post function to work (You're there in the In This Issue credits.)

A rollicking good time, as always, Jerome! (I esp. appreciated the tennis theme, which was both entertaining and a reminder to watch some of the French Open before it's completely over.) Congrats to all my Spherean friends in the issue.

The French Open will eventually be completely over, but there will be another one next year. Or as Bob Dylan put it:
The train leaves at half past ten
But it'll be back in the same old spot again
Cheers,
John
