Default Westchester and Whitworth

Another few weeks and I shall be there for the first time. A few short years ago and I had never been to the USA at all, and now I am an old hand. It appears that there are just a few places remaining on my course though ohers are full to overflowing. So I urge you to sign up. Why should you. You hear Whitworth banging o here quite enough, thank you very much, and you know how to rhyme and scan. Well, that is true, but though others win Speccie competitions more often, I have won forty times, and twenty times at the Oldie, and even a dozen at the Staggers. It all mounts up, you know. And then there are the other competitions. I once won £5,350 for a single poem. Did I tell you? I expect I did. And £1000 five times. And now I've got a new book out or nearly. Before the end of the year (Joy in the Morning, get your orders in now. All the others SOLD OUT (or out of print as it is sometimes termed). I shall be bringing all the copies that there are left. Yes all!. Some of my books are now worth $1000 if Amazon is to be believed. So sign up now and endless happiness can be yours. And now I'm quite out of breath,. See you soon I hope.

Best,

Let me second John's remarks. Outside of eratosphere, his work is not well known Over Here, so we are eager to get people in his workshop. If you have already registered for another, please consider changing, for John is a master of the use of rhyme (and reason). You can do so by contacting Ann Mascherino, the conference business manager (address below). John will be reading at a panel in hono(u)r of his having attained his three score and ten; Ann Drysdale, Walter Ancarrow, and I will be commenting on his work.

And soon out of the works, Bill. Coming out before the end of the year. Place your orders now.

Alas, I am not well known anywhere, except on the Eratosphere. Perhaps dying would be a good career move.

"Joy in the Morning" - what a splendidly Wodehousian title, John. I shall look forward to adding it to my collection.

Bloody Hell, Sam! That's what I call a surprise!

And my daughter is doing a cover, Brian. A Wodehousian one.

Sam has a wheelbarrow full of surprises, Ann. Now is the time for all good men and women ...
