I don't come around here much anymore, but I want to make sure people are reading Ryan Wilson's incredible online journal Literary Matters. The current issue includes such current and former Sphereans (or at least Sphere favorites) as A.E. Stallings, Rachel Hadas, Julie Kane, Timothy Steele, and Sam Gwynn. & perhaps others! Plus some serious big names (Charles Simic, Linda Pastan, Ted Kooser, Dave Smith, Amit Majmudar, & on). My own offering includes a long translation of Pindar sneakily tacked onto the end of an otherwise stultifying essay. If that sounds boring to you, it bores me too! Skip it, but read the rest.
