Scary! Thanks, both. I actually just taught this Mason-jam in a summer class I do for middle-schoolers (ages 12-13) as we worked on voice and imagery. I'll show them the vid tomorrow.

Here are my students' reactions so far:

scary

creepy

intriguing

he reads it better than you, Mr. Hunt

he sounds like the narrator in that one movie, you know that one...

the images are really good and not distracting...

nice music...

i like how it ends in darkness, visually as well as thematically...

[and, with a different group, after the weekend...]

bravo!

pretty cool...

I don't want to play rock-paper-scissors with that guy...

Deep!

I really enjoy how much complexity he is able to find in a simple game that most people never think twice about...
