Four Native American tribes are still fighting Energy Transfer Partners, over the Dakota Access Pipeline. One is the Cheyenne River Sioux, now claiming that the federal government, (specifically, the Army Corps of Engineers), is cutting them out of consultations required by established treaties with the Indians. The Corps, as well, seems unable to keep them straight and differentiated, but has repeatedly mistaken the Yankton Sioux tribe for the Oglala Sioux, in exchanges.
In other news, the federal government is now
