What a pleasure to see your name here again Mr Ward--even if I did goad you into reading the sonnets so I could argue with you about them! Come back--this place needs you.

A whole bunch of fine poems here. I like at least half a dozen of them well enough to consider them for number one, but my vote goes to Charlemagne's Vision.

My thanks to Tim for posting all these one one thread so we can agonize more easily. And for all the work he's done gathering and selecting these poems.
