Default Writing the Rockies Conference

Hey, I'm going to be in Gunnison, CO on the 21st and 22nd of July to talk about epic poetry: https://www.western.edu/visiting-spe...ron-poochigian

Will anyone else from the 'Sphere be there?

alone in the mountains:

a savage place! As holy and enchanted
as e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted
by woman wailing for her demon lover!

Weave a circle round him thrice,
And speak his name with holy dread!

Have a great time! I would love to hear you and Fred Turner on epic. Anyone who hasn't read Aaron's translation of Apollonius' Jason and the Argonauts has a treat in store -- published by Penguin.

Thanks, Bill. Yes, I am eager to hear the other panelists--I suppose I will have to talk as well.

Best,

Aaron
