Default Two sphere-relevant cartoons

Years ago, Michael Cantor shared the following cartoon and said it reminded him of Eratosphere:

Merriment ensued (in this thread).

Today, I stumbled across the following cartoon. It, too, reminded me of Eratosphere:

Edited to add a few more from the same cartoonist:

Julie, these all feel so thoroughly accurate. Nice find.

I love it when all the neat and tidy things stack neatly together. It's very efficient.

Cheers,
John

You hit the target on these ones, Julie, especially the one with “I love it” followed by “but let’s get rid of the usual bits”... Exactly.

And yet we ask for more.

If someone were to write a crit: "I've read this from beginning to end ten times and I have nothing to add, nothing to fix, nothing to question. I get it all. But I don't like it." That would be enough to send me away for a while.

(Please don't.) Make me think, "What was I thinking?"

But humor reigns supreme. (The buddha doesn't smile at nothing.)
In my opinion, humor is one of the most difficult things to infuse into poetry. Julie, I think you do it better (among other things poetic) than anyone I can think of at the moment.

Glad you enjoyed.

One more! Wow, if I had a nickel for every time this has happened to me here...

(It's one of the hazards of hanging out with people who have the ability and experience required to give useful advice.)

And how often it happens that our "quick thing" is better liked than our "thing that took a long time"!
