Those of you who have hung out here a long time probably remember people who were here for a while, were impressive, and then seemed to disappear. At the West Chester conference just ended, I finally met one of them whom I missed: Lee Harlin Bahan. (To jog your memories,
here's a link to one of our more animated scansion discussions.)
Lee's erudition in person, and especially in the West Chester translation seminar just ended, would be scary if she weren't such delightful company. And I'm here to tell you her book is delightful. I don't know how I missed getting a picture of her.
I want to insert jpg pics of a page or two of her book, which was one of the winners of the latest Able Muse Book Prize, and which is delightful. It's my file, not a URL. Can somebody tell me how? Sorry to be dumb.
Oh, and by the way, I see she's now been published in some
seriously impressive places.
