LOL - I gotta think about that one: can a corpse be apathetic, or is it such by its very nature? Taking the theological viewpoint, I ain't gonna be in the hearse, so will I manage to be apathetic about where I do end up?
I don't care if the flames ARE roasting my haunch! *grin*
I guess it's all relative, seeing as how
you've had the full function of twenty till now,
but nineteen is plenty; it's better than two.
Let this be a lesson: Don't drink when you sew.
Carol
P.S. In first grade we sang a song that went something like this:
Said the thousand-legged worm
as he began to squirm,
"Has anybody seen that leg of mine?
For if it can't be found
I'll have to hop around
on the other nine hundred ninety-nine!"
Truly, sir, all that I live by is with the awl: I
meddle with no tradesman's matters, nor women's
matters, but with awl. Julius Ceasar, Act I, Scene 1.
I hear the ghost of Shakespeare call: That's what you get for meddling with awl!
