Default Erskine J. Poetry Prize by Smartish Pace

I just learned last night that "Sestina," workshopped here and made better by all your care, is a finalist for this prize.

Thank you all!

Thanks all! The poem itself is a testament to the necessity of revision. The original sixth stanza was a poorly conceptualized anti-Trump stanza. The first major revision got the time period right but still needed a thorough picking over.

Finding this place is the best thing that has happened to my writing, by far.

Congrats, Andrew. I could tell right away that series was special. The Smartish Pacers are dear friends of mine. They should set you up with a reading in Baltimore.
