Default Spherean sparklers in LUPO's Atumn '19 edition

The autumn 2019 issue (No.. 47) of Lighten Up Online is now up with no less than eighteen Sphereans participating, that is to say, Melissa Balmain Jerome Betts, Terese Coe, Edmund Conti. Martin Elster, Max Gutmann, Robin Helweg-Larsen, Jean L. Kreiling, Martin Parker, and Ed Shacklee, as well as new members David Alpaugh,, Damian Balassone, Janice Canerdy, Daniel Galef, David Galef, Julia Griffin,, Midge Goldberg and Bruce McGuffin.
Among their topics are Cinderella’s plates of meat, ugly ducklings, diagnostic questionnaires, Macbeth, Norman kings, xylophagery, French, peccaries, Halloween and, for Hellenophiles, Pi, Cassandra and Ajax, with forms ranging from limericks (lots of those) to double titles and ovillejos.
The bill of fare is guaranteed gluten, potus and boris-free, so safe for sensitive stomachs.
(Don't understand how the Edit post function now works, hence apparent double posting)

Such an enjoyable issue, Jerome! Honored to have my corny/buniony/blistery poem in there alongside so many Spherean gems...

It is a great issue. I really enjoyed Nicola Woods' "Sunday," among many others. It's nice to come across new poets alongside worthies you know and like so well.

Best,

Ed

Thanks, Ed and Martin. Indeed it's always good to find good new voices in the editorial mailbox. And thanks also, Melissa. Unlike Cinderella's, your feet are as immaculate as ever.
