Default review of my book in World Literature Today

I'm delighted to have a review of my book Not Elegy, But Eros in the May 2018 issue of World Literature Today. Here's the link.

Three poems from the book appeared earlier in the WLT, including the title poem, so I'm very grateful to them, and thrilled to have a review there.

Editing to add that another review posted a couple of days after WLT, so I'll add it here. It's in the Boston Arts Fuse -- here's the link. The line breaks, stanza breaks, and indentation are missing in some excerpts, but it'll get fixed soon.

Thanks,
Nausheen

p.s. If you've already seen this on FB, please feel free to disregard here.

You must be thrilled with this review, Nausheen. As Catherine says, it's insightful, really honouring the complexity of the work. (Which, by the way, I need a copy of!!) I also love a reviewer who points out that a poem should be read slowly and mulled over in order to truly appreciate its myriad shadings and textures.

I'm very happy for you, Nausheen, that the book is being received so well!

Congratulations, Nausheen. I've seen two links to this review from literary blogs that I read regularly, so hopefully the word is getting out.

Thanks so much, John, Cathy, Cally, and Edward! I appreciate it.

Cally -- I appreciated those things in the review as well. Let me know your new address in Australia, so I can send you the book!

Edward -- Thanks for letting me know about seeing links elsewhere. That's very flattering.

Actually, another review just posted a couple of days after WLT, so I'll put it in the same thread -- it's at Boston Arts Fuse. Here's the link. The line breaks, stanza breaks, and indentation are missing in some excerpts, but they said they'll fix it soon.

Thanks again,
Nausheen
