My poem “Acceleration” is a parody of a famous poem by A. E. Housman (1859–1936). Most Spherians are likely familiar with the verse, but here it is for those who may not know it.
Stars, I have seen them fall,
 But when they drop and die
No star is lost at all
 From all the star-sown sky.
The toil of all that be
 Helps not the primal fault;
It rains into the sea,
 And still the sea is salt.

Hello, Cally. Thanks for stopping by. Yes, our car culture aptly represents the mad rush and frenetic pace of life. I prefer a much slower and less hurried lane. Occupying no lane may be best of all. Warm regards to you.
