Default Text and Flame at Scoundrel Time

This week, Daisy Fried at Scoundrel Time posted "Text and Flame," probably the darkest of several poems in 3 Nights of the Perseids (available at Amazon) about technology's capacity to serve as catalyst to our worst impulses.

I don't know if "enjoy" is the right word, but thanks for taking a look if you do!

When will we learn human nature
is worse than we want to admit?

Way to keep it light, Ned. That's the kind of cheery optimism we all crave in this crazy world. And happy holidays to you.

Tragic stories in a lively meter - I love it.

This should "go viral." There's power in metrical verse to make the stories of our time vivid and unforgettable. Well done, Ned.
