Just wanted to say that I am only one degree away from personal involvement -- that is, my sister-in-law knows someone who walked out of the elevator in a luxury hotel in Sri Lanka just as the bombs went off. He dragged the dead bodies of 3 of his 4 children out of the rubble. I have no words equal to this.

Mark, I read your last 'pontification' and I thought it was a good piece of writing.

Julie and Michael, thanks, that's good to know. I think I just woke up the next day and saw the pontificating and thought, 'oh shut up!' I can be like that.
