Good news! My epic poem
Eϸandun has just been reviewed by Frederick Turner in the Winter issue of
Expansive Poetry Online. "The Real Game of Thrones," as the review is titled, is available here:

Frederick Turner is the author of three superb sci-fi epics:
The New World (Princeton 1985), about the Uess in the 24th century;
Genesis (Saybrook 1988), about the terraforming of Mars and the foundation of a new civilization; and
Apocalypse (Ilium 2016), about humanity meeting the challenge of global warming.
For those new to Eratosphere, some years ago I posted a series of passages from my epic-poem-in-progress about young Alfred's and Ealhswith's struggle with invading Danes in 878 AD. This story has suddenly become familiar again as a result of the popularity of
The Last Kingdom and
The Vikings on Netflix. The poem is now finished and has been published by Beaver's Pond Press here in the Twin Cities.
The illustrator, designer, and printer did a terrific job; the book is hardbound, with full-page color illustrations by Miko Simmons. If you are interested, you can order from
https://www.williamgcarpenter.com and avoid sales tax (unless you live in Minnesota), as well as paying less for shipping than Amazon charges. Readers outside the US should DM me.
