Another Red, Red Nose
'Tis the season!
Another Red, Red Nose
My reindeer has a red, red nose
But rarely can fly high;
My reindeer has a needy whine
When I say, Time to fly.
So underweight are you my deer,
So packed with fat am I,
That I will trust you most of all,
When you can pull me high.
When you can pull my weight aloft,
My sleigh will clear tree tops,
And I’ll revere you even more
For all our rooftop stops.
You did so well, my red-nosed deer;
We’ve conquered many miles!
You’ll lead the team when we next fly
And red-nosed Santa smiles.
After Robert Burns, “A Red, Red Rose”
