Here we go again: on September 1, I'll be pruning the three main poetry boards and the Translation board. The three po-boards will lose everything with a last-post date earlier than August. The Translation board will lose poems with a last-post date earlier than July. Make copies now if you need to!

I've been thinking recently (again) about whether we need more frequent pruning so that poems don't hang around so long. GT discussion to follow.

What about the Fiction forum?

Good question. I haven't, as a rule, pruned the fiction forum because the activity rate is very different from that of the po-boards. So there's material there going back to 2007! That does seem excessive.

But 30 days seems too hard a prune for Fiction; it might leave too little to comment on.
