New makeover minus gravitas
These clips are dynamite to blast
her dour depiction in the past:
She condescends from towering thoughts
to lower fermented fruit to tots.

Mark, Yeah that's the trouble with trailers.
But really. Molly Shannon? SNL Molly Shannon? Molly Shannon cast as Jane - er - Emily Dickinson? Molly Shannon? Molly Shannon? Molly Shannon?
Hey Em, wake up and give me a kiss.

Al-right . . . I'm gonna have to go see it, I suppose. (If only so I can get all the jokes and references that may turn up here!)
Mark, I'm down for a little "sassy fun," as counterpoint to leaven all the Belle of Amherst and "Quiet Passion" dough. And oo, ain't they doughy?
Anyone else care to commit to seeing the film? A conspiracy of kibbitzers?
Julie, your comments on the damn trailer are already making me LMAO.

I object to the lighting. Flat, no separation. The DP should learn how to pull his dark subjects away from dark backgrounds. I mean if you're going to pay people to kiss, the least you can do is let people, see them. And what's with the falling behind the furniture. Of course that's the way to hide the furney blanket. And a good way to give the talent a big bruise.

God that looks like a horrible movie. A little kissing is ok, we all need that, or a bit of intimacy. Or meaningless sex. Either might have completely ruined literature. And maybe worth it. But won't be watching that anytime soon. Anyway, I think there was a cartoon strip once that had Moby Dick caught and hung by the tail and I think the heading was revisionist literature.

Where's that Pound movie? Tough one to do, I suppose. But, still, surprised given his prominence and messed up life and views.
