Another lovely review. I like how this one has a sense of slightly longer narrative to it, very beautiful, very carefully explicated.

It's interesting, though, because they're saying similar things, now, maybe, like the reviews have found their shared own journey-path, and this is 'how' the book is going to be placed in the collective accepted memory of what the book 'is'.

I wonder if there's an alt-narrative too. Or if that will come later on.

Sarah-Jane,

I am indeed pleased that the reviews have been favorable thus far and that they have found similar merits.

I would love it, though, if there were alternate theories on the book.

Enjoy the UK for me,

Aaron

Aaron,

It would be really difficult to review the book badly, I think. It's an exceptional book, which works across dimensions - accessible enough to hit you where it hurts when reading, wearing its learning lightly, but - it's like all the structure is there - the past used - but not in a 'twisting/bending' way but 'with' those narratives, whilst creating something that is completely 'now'.

I have not put that very well. Either way, the small, snail-filled, green, damp, very hedgerow-colourful bit of the UK that I inhabit sends its regards to New York.
