Default Ovid

So, perhaps I'm getting myself in over my head (I do that a lot) but I've convinced some professors at UMass Boston to let me take graduate courses in Latin. I think my Latin is pretty strong, still, when you've never taken a course in the topic it can feel a little stressful.

So, the first of these is an Ovid course. Sorry Pooch, it's only on the Metamorphoses, so I won't be able to dive deeper into our Ovid-Propertius debate. But I'm posting to ask if anyone has any suggestions for readings. Any good studies on the text you recommend?

I've got the Cambridge History of Latin Literature and Cambridge Companion to Ovid.
