Measure
Hello folks.
Poem no. 2 accepted: I got an email yesterday saying my poem 'Present' is going to be in the Summer issue (vol 13 issue 1) of 'Measure'. Suffice to say I'll be mentioning it again nearer the time, but I just couldn't wait.
I've nothing to link to and I don't know if I'm allowed to post it. There was a beer garden in it if that jogs any memories, though I'm not really narrowing it down there am I?

Congrats, Mark. I remember that poem--the one in which the speaker observes a couple fighting?

Thanks Aaron, but no! Ha, my point is proved. That was called 'Falling', though it was indeed set in a beer garden. I need to venture to more exotic locales for inspiration...
