Two reviews -- Philadelphia Inquirer & BAP blog
The first review of my book appeared yesterday in The Philadelphia Inquirer. It's by Frank Wilson, veteran book reviewer and retired book reviews editor at the Inquirer -- and a poet himself, which helps. There are a couple of factual inaccuracies, but otherwise a fine review. Here's the link.
Editing to add that when it rains, it pours, and a second review just appeared on the BAP blog. This one is by Dante Di Stefano, wonderful poet and discerning critic. I don't want to seem like I'm hogging this board, so I'm just editing the existing announcement to add this, and after that I'll just sit out for a while.

Good review, Nausheen, but what really sells the book are the quotes from it.

Wonderful, Nausheen!! Factual errors notwithstanding, this is a review you can be proud of. Recognition of the high quality of your poetry from an objective (as much as reviewers can be), professional reviewer. Well deserved, and I’m so happy to read this. Congrats!
