Leila - I didn't really think you were - I was just expressing my dismay over how the political/moral debates have altered, for me, an innocent image...I wish I could just look at it and see the baby. Maybe when my girls start having ultrasounds of my grandkids I'll revert! I loved everything else about it - especially the fingers and bubbles.

My choices:
1) Floodhawk - so dramatic and fantastic.
2) Zygote - I love the image.

Zygote
Bad Guys
Floodhawk
Marion - I'm being dense, but I don't get it. I've tried it close, far away, with specs, without specs...I know I'm missing something, and it's my fault, but????
I put Floodhawk third, basically because it was too static for my taste (Stable placement of bisymmetrical central figure).

It's waterbirds in a close, low perspective looking at the sunset, Jerry, and it's lovely to me eyes. WTG marion. You have my vote.

being a sucker for bright colors i am rather genetically drawn to Flips and Floodhawk. they are both so different i would be hard pressed to say what would get the nod from me... if i used the what could i live with the longest if it were hanging on my wall i would have to go with Flips. Floodhawk while it is stunning at first glance i am afraid may start to feel like one of those surreal ads on TV for the Marines...
on the conceptual side of things l liked the direction that Lorieli Strumming Her Tail is going, though Easter eggs colors are not doing it for me.
this is an interesting activity.. i will look forward to the next one.
