Hey Alex,
Happy to make a donation once the next payment for work has come in :-)
Thank you!

I donated, but not in vast quantities as my beloved 10-year-old iMac won't be updated any longer, won't run the software updates I need, and is leading me down a mazy trail of thunderbolt cables and profligate spending.
Would you be up for exchange and barter? I am great at making avatars and bespoke small images. I often make these for friends or for money. Can I donate some, in the manner of a raffle or village green tombola or prizes/incentives for those who donate more money?

I still have no clue how much money is needed.
Transactions at a poetry site are not so complex that you would usually need very fancy and expensive software. What's going on to make the site so expensive? The current software seems relatively oldfashioned. Are there unnecessary features? Are you being ripped off? If you are wasting or being ripped off then asking for donations in effect would be asking for us to waste and be ripped off too.
And without knowing what is needed and the progress in reaching that amount, you could be receiving, say five thousand dollars from members, but only need a thousand.
If members are going to be part of paying the bills, it seems like they deserve at least an outline of what the actual bills are, to see if there is waste, ripping-off, and generally/roughly how much is needed or hoped for from our end, and how much that aim has been reached during periods of donations.

Kevin, I love ya, but there's something called rental cost, which with a site and backups like this one can be steep. I expect to chip in my usual pretty soon. Trust is the word. Nothing is free. There's no such thing as a free lunch. And, some support once in a while manifests your tangible interest and how much it means to you.
