Thanks, Susan

I hadn't expected Lorette to accept both sonnets, so that was a pleasant surprise! Now I'm excited about the idea of writing several poems inspired by one image. For anyone who's interested, submissions for poetry at TER are currently closed due to a backlog, but they're due to reopen in August, which isn't too far away.

Thanks to everyone who assisted with the sonnets

Best wishes,
Fliss

Well done, Fliss! And two poems together there is I think quite unusual.

Cheers,
John

Cheers, John! 🍻 Yes, it's rare to see two poems. I sometimes see multiple entries, though, which is what I'd like to try.

Congratulations Fliss,

I remember you workshopping these, and it's some of your strongest work, I think. Great to read them out there!
