Well now, I just went on Drills and Amusements and changed the title of my last results thread. I added three little kisses. Because I could. So I did.

And so could you, if you did what I did.

There's obviously no time limit as I posted that thread on the 24th.

My secret? Click "Edit" and then click "Go Advanced". The title appears, ripe for amendment, above the post.

The above is postily, threadily, utterly irrelevant. See Matt's post below.

Hi Annie,

You changed the title of the first post of the thread, but not the thread title. Have a look at the list of threads. Those kisses don't show.

Speaking of editing thead-titles, yours could use some capitalization:

"changing thread titles (test10)"

"curtal-ish"

"blank verse"

"take any word, repeat it a number of times, examine it: it will vanish"

etc.

Better than Aaron's anti-capitalist thread-titles!

I think it has a bit of relevance at a forum like this. Capitalization is something most people learn in elementary school, isn't it? What's so hard about using it in the first and most visible thing one sees of a post you make at the forum - the thread title?

People visiting the forum are going to think some uneducated, lazy teenager is posting here.

the only people who will think that, kevin, are those whose brains are too old, too slow, and too decayed to keep up with changes to linguistic convention, which are, after all, arbitrary and subject to change

since I can both think and write circles around you (I do not say this in self-praise; there are many poets here I consider my superiors), your fusty opinions about capitalization mean nothing to me

have a lovely evening

That's true, Kevin, but luckily you don't post that much.
