I've never made it to an in-person poetry conference or even a reading, so it was thrilling to exchange a few words with people I've known from almost two decades at Eratosphere. Especially Alex Pepple!

I was delighted to notice you in the gallery, Sarah-Jane, and wanted to say hi, but I got a bit overwhelmed.

Looking forward to the do that Annie Drysdale mentioned. I hope I can make it!

Superb presentation by Rick and Nemo, which everyone can build on by studying Huncke II and Nemo's deep prologue, soon to be available. Not the least of enjoyments were catching a glimpse of Ann's pet bear, and seeing a live feed of the IG nature chronicler Siham Karami!

Huncke: Pynchon couldn't do it, and Byron couldn't do it, but Rick Mullin could and did.

Folks!

I was happy, really honored, to see you all there. Thanks so much. I posted Nemo's introduction on my painting blog. I really can't thank Nemo and Julio enough.

Julie--I'm amazed that you were able to exhume the Amish incident from all the many screeds and scrambles posted here in the eight years or so since it happened! You're amazing.

Sarah-Jane, welcome once again. I've enjoyed reading your poetry and critiques. Thanks for being there yestrerday.

Ned, the first one is a collector's item. Don't show it to anyone~,:^) Thank you, my friend.

Bill, thanks. We have to meet halfway at West Chester again soon. Soon as this whole End Times thing clears up. Thanks for being there!

Ann--I look forward to your feature on Sunday. I shall be there. Thanks for staying up with us!

You too, Mark (... and Sarah-Jane). Always a pleasure to have your presence in the Zoom windows. See you Sunday, I trust!

And Calleroo! Your appearance in the Green Room before the event was smashing as usual. Thank Dave for me as well.

Mary! Wow, it was good to see you. I hope to really see you sometime soon.

Thanks again, everyone! I'll pipe down now ~,:^)

What is happening on Sunday? Please can I come?

On another note, if you were ever considering putting on a virtual conference, I'd be happy to volunteer to support if it wasn't at a pinch-point with work or PhD. I'm not great front-stage but I'm very good backstage. I am good at cat-herding (not bear-herding) & organising spaces & facilitation.

I feel badly now as this post removes the link to book sales, so here it is again (I had to buy mine from Amazon because I'm in the UK - I think I got the last copy (mwahaha) - it's a lovely book)

Just to add that someone has now filled me in on the Sunday Jaunter. I was faintly shocked, but only faintly. And in a good way. I'm glad no eels were harmed.
