Default The Joke's on Me

It's one small step for the English-language canon, but for me, a pretty big leap.

My book, The Joke's on Me, is available now from White Violet Press, just in time to confuse and disorient everyone on your holiday gift list. The more copies everybody buys, the sooner the joke can be on all of us.

The official publication date is 2019, and I understand that's when the book will become available via Amazon. In the meantime, you can order direct from the publisher at this link:

https://kelsaybooks.com/products/the-jokes-on-me

(Or you can get in touch with the author for a signed copy, if you're into that sort of thing.)

There may be a promotional reading coming soon to a venue near you. I'll do my best to get out the word as those things develop. So much to look forward to.

Great. Sent you an order for a signed and personalized copy. Does it cost extra if I ask you to fawn? Congrats, congrats!!

At long last...
Congratulations, Chris. I'd like a signed and personalised copy, too, please.

I very much doubt you'll manage a promotional reading at a venue near me... but who knows? International fame beckons; if you come to London I'll be there!

Jayne

Congratulations, indeed! This leap is considerable, no joke.

Yay, Chris -- congrats! Will you be reading anywhere in or near Boston? If not, maybe I'll have to make the schlep over to Western Mass. Either way, I hope to hear you read! No one declaims their verse (and from memory!) quite the way you do.

Thank you, Ann. Not only for your kind words here, but for providing such a generous blurb for the book, and for having published a number of poems from the collection in Angle during your time as editor.

And thanks to everyone for welcoming this slim volume so warmly. Anyone who wants to arrange to buy a signed copy is welcome to get in touch via email or 'Sphere PM.

The only reading I have scheduled so far is at a "new books" event at Poetry by the Sea in May. The Poetry Salon of Boston and the Emily Dickinson Museum in Amherst (where I saw you read not long ago, Nausheen) have both offered me feature spots in 2019, but no firm dates yet for those. More news as the story develops.

Thanks again, and best wishes to all of you for your own publishing adventures.
