My Bracket is Busted
Northern Iowa? Cornell? St. Mary's? Are you kidding me!?! Sheesh.

Obviously you need to switch to my own system of basketball prognostication--a complicated trigonometry based on team colors, the number of syllables in the university's name, and the mascots' relative positions in the food chain.

David,
I don't think there's a single unblemished bracket left anywhere across this great nation. You may search high and low if you will, such a pilgrimage were sweet, from mountains to plains, from sea to boiling sea, but everyone, everyone! had a sweet sixteen celebration that included jayhawks.
What's the world coming to?
Thanks,
Bill

I think I will use this as my sole criteria next year.

Just when I'm beginning to think that the differences between the Old and the New Continent are not that great (you're finally joining the rest of the civilized world as regards health-care, after all), along comes a thread like this. I haven't understood a single post so far. Can anyone provide a key?

Gregory, I think the clue is "NCAA Basketball." I'm nearly as clueless as you, but my daughter's school just bagged an upset victory so I had to pay some attention.

Oh, that's why I love it. My seventh-seeded Bears went up against Duke in the second round and the busting was drearily predictable.

Like Gregory, I was starting to doubt my senses, because I hadn't understood a word. Not that I understand much now, but at least I am informed about the subject of the thread.

Adam, I'm pretty sure some of these posts are highly subversive of the whole ethos of the Sphere and deserve the strictest censure. I'll leave it to you to work out which ones.
