Congratulations, Aaron! And Venice in April sounds very nice!
Cheers,
John
Oh - if you're looking for accommodation, you might try Airbnb. My wife and I had a great experience with it.

Congrats, Aaron! But don't make any Faustian bargains while you're at the Crossroads at midnight. You've got enough talent.

Thank you all very much. I have traveled extensively in Greece but I have never been Italy. It's time.
John, thank you for the air bnb recommendation. The conference is putting me up at hotel, the Hotel Al Sole.
Thank you,
Aaron

Italy... I guess Venice has been Italian since about 1870, after being its own republic for centuries and then part of Austria (thank you Napoleon). It feels kind of out on the edge of things. But very lovely.
Cheers,
John

Enjoy the conference and Venice (impossible not to), and say hello to Gregory Dowling for me - we used to see each other regularly at West Chester, but that was many years ago.

PM me the most recent news from the Rialto. And don’t get your feet wet.

Thank you, Michael and Allen.
Michael, I am indeed excited to see Gregory Dowling again.
Allen, I will live-stream the conference to Eratosphere for you.
Best, best,
Aaron

Congrats! I hope you enjoy the conference and Venice as well. I've been there twice and it was a great experience (can't even compare with any other city in Europe).
I was planning to participate in International Conference on History of Philosophy (ICHP-19) in Sydney (which is today), but missed the deadline for my research article submission (had a nasty time with health issues) .. Now waiting for the materials from the conference to go live.
Looking forward to your live stream too.
