I enjoyed that too. I read it the other day, and I love 'prouder than Christmas decorations'. I love how it balances surreal with real, just gently rocking me off-balance while I'm reading it.
I wonder what a 'worthy journal' is. I also wonder 'who defines worthy' and what kind of knowledge-structures that perpetuates. And pragmatically, where the artist's book and the zine stand. Anyway, things that start off small and kind, or pushing at boundaries tend to get gentrified, like cities, in the end.
Either way, I like the poem very much.
