Hi, friends!
Thought you might enjoy some photos of the recording session for the San Diego Master Chorale's annual Messiah Sing, to be live streamed Sunday, December 6, at 2pm PST:
https://www.facebook.com/SanDiegoMas...60279130640830
A small group of COVID-19-tested, masked, socially distanced (12 feet apart!) SD Master Chorale singers recorded most of the Christmas section of Handel's Messiah, plus the Hallelujah Chorus (of course) in St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, with organ accompaniment.
Tickets are $22.50 (including transaction fees), and if the live-streamed event is not convenient for you, you will be able to access the performance until Dec. 31. During the choruses, you'll be able to see the score so that you can sing along.
(If you're interested in any of our other virtual programs in our Fall 2020 series, I'll note that the performance of Joel Thompson's Seven Last Words of the Unarmed was the most emotionally impactful choral piece I've ever been associated with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Our video includes a discussion with the composer. Again, $22.50, and you can access it until Dec. 31. Great gift idea for someone who enjoys music.)
All of our Fall Series programs can be accessed at

Please help us to keep going until we can perform live again.
Donations of any size are also very welcome. Thanks!
