Lovely issue. I particularly enjoyed Suzanne's piece. Turner was the kind of wonderful old Southern queen who never let on, yet never hid, and always insisted on his own dignity. I'd like very much to see "the porn," myself.

Special kudos to Suzanne Doyle for arranging the festschrift in memory of Turner Cassity. Everyone should read Tim Steele's meditation on Nijinski's grave (and Heine's) in Montmartre Cemetary. For my part, it was a real pleasure to interview Stephen Edgar and John Beaton, who put a good deal of effort into their thoughtful responses. The new poems from each of them are very fine.
