Default Black comedy, actors' reading of Terese Coe's play, Harry Smith at the Chelsea Hotel

I'm pleased to invite you to this free reading of a 45-minute (ie shortened) version of my play, Harry Smith at the Chelsea Hotel, set in 1970. It's a biographical black comedy read by actors from Actors Equity.

It will be at Dixon Place, 161A Chrystie St. (between Rivington and Delancey) in the Lounge at 7:30 pm on Wed. Oct. 23, 2019--one night only.

You can read a blurb and make a reservation at this link (go to "Tickets").
http://dixonplace.org/performances/h...el-10-23-2019/

There is seating for 45, including a bar. Dixon Place invites audiences to come at 7pm and purchase a drink to help support the theater.

Caveat: some language is risqué. Not suitable for those under 16.

Would love to see some of you there. If I don't know you, please introduce yourselves to me after the play!

The cast did a wonderful job with the earlier reading (of your longer version). Not sure I can be there for this new reading, but I'm hoping. Break a leg wishes to everyone involved.

Would love to see you there, Chris! Cordis is also taking a role in this, and we have five of the other actors returning (two new ones). It's going to be exciting--some of Harry's old friends will be there as well, some people I haven't seen in many years. I hope I don't get a case of nerves as the night approaches! Thanks for the good wishes too!
