Sam, How is it that this hasn't gotten comment? Is it the ungodly 15 minute length? I was absorbed in it. It's worth every second.

It is a pleasure listening to her talk of noir with such affinity. The genre is expertly defined by her: no melodrama, no sentimentality... And her look and voice and phrasing are fantastic.

Thanks for this clip. I am excited read Weldon Kees.

Sam, take a look at Daniel Kemper's poem on the metrical board entitled, "The Grey-lit Ceiling". It's noir to my ear.
