Nuts in Nutland
The blurbs are in for my children's book, Nuts in Nutland, to be published on March 1st. Read all about it HERE. The poem that became this book was born right here at the Sphere, on this thread HERE. Many thanks to Roger Slater for the prompt, and to all of you for the inspiration.

Hi Mary,
I'm delighted to hear that the Queen of Nut has her own Facebook page! The book looks like a lot of fun.
Cheers,
John

You guys! Thanks Mark and John. (Are Matthew and Luke around?) It's quite a feeling to see the book in print at last, after seven years of work.

Until Luke comes, I’ll fill in. This is wonderful, Mary!! I didn’t know the backstory before; sounds like you were on a roll writing this one! Kudos for this. A children’s book – Yes!

Congratulations, Mary! How delightful.
(My name backwards is Eiluj. Is that close enough to "Luke"?)

I think that's close enough, Julie. And Mary herself was one of the authors of the apocrypha, so we have the full set! Btw everyone knows that 'God' spells 'Dog' backwards, but when I was little it would amuse me no end that 'Jesus' backwards, phonetically at least, was 'sausage'. Or close enough.
Back to the book. Though I imagine the Queen of Nutland might appreciate the digression.

Also: Luke, it's Siham and Julie! If you'll excuse the (Scouser?) pun.
I always liked this rhyme:
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
Bless the bed I lie upon...
The Russian for god is bog, as I recall.
Cheers,
John

Matthew: cheers!
Mark: let's get the whole bible on board.
Luke: can be both Siham and Julie.
John: funny!
