Wow, with all that kissing, it's amazing that she ever found time to do anything else.

It looks somewhat livelier than A Quiet Passion.

I suppose I should be grateful there aren't any zombies.

I do hope she lowers gingerbread to children from her Amherst bedroom window.

0:15s-0:20s of Sam's clip. Emily gives a slightly too-delighted "Hell-o!" to the children she has lured with gingerbread, just before the scene shifts to the first of several face-sucking sessions with an unidentified person whom I at first assumed was the tallest of the children. Not creepy at all.

I guess be careful what you wish for is the moral for me there. And maybe that feature films about poets tend to be rubbish.

I was kind of hoping those were THC-laced brownies for the little ones.

I guess the trailer for the film is trying to make up for lost time, since same-sex PDAs (public displays of affection) have been such a scandalous no-no until recently. But I've never in my life seen such a ridiculous proliferation of nearly-identical smooching scenes.
Whatever happened to telling it slant?

I think it looks like it's trying for sassy fun and a light tone; that might even make for a better film than the standard po-faced literary biopic.
But really, you can't trust a trailer, they can do anything. Seen this?
