Default Richard Wilbur Award

I don't need to tell you how important the Richard Wilbur Award has been to formal poets seeking to publish a book (often a first book), but I do need to tell you that my friend Ned Balbo will be the 2019 & 2020 judge. Check out the submission details at: https://uecreativewriting.submittable.com/submit

Thanks, Michael--perils of posting while tired.

I have fixed my original post too.

Once again, looks like a great contest from the honored name to the present practice. I especially like the generous page span--50 to 100. Alas, seldom using rhyme, and only half or so of my poems conventionally metered (though each syllable carefully weighed and considered), my work doesn't quite fit.

Sorry, Mike, but there's too much of this amending of statements going around these days, without any appreciation of consequences. The Committee of the Wise and Council of the Just have just decreed that you must surrender your own Wilbur. That'll learn you.
