32 Poems Publisher Deborah Ager has invited me to join her and Dan Nester for a reading at The Old Stone House in Brooklyn on Thursday, December 14 at 8 pm. The event is sponsored by 32 Poems and Brooklyn Reading Works.

The Old Stone House is a National Historic Site in Brooklyn's JJ Byrne Park on Fifth Avenue between 3rd and 4th Street. The $5 admission includes light refreshments.

Needless to say, you're all invited!

Terese

Here are the subway directions:

F to Fourth Ave./9th St.
or
R to 9th Street at Fourth Ave. (Brooklyn)

From the F train, walk up to 5th avenue along 9th Street, then take a left on 5th Avenue. At the corner of 4th street, you will see the House glowing in the center of the park. There should be no problem walking into the site at twilight or after dark (this information is from the hosts at The Old Stone House).

Also, there is parking on the streets around JJ Byrne Park.

The website for the venue is www.theoldstonehouse.org and their phone number is 718-768-3195. The host will be Louise Crawford, curator of Brooklyn Reading Works.

Terese--
Leave it to you to find a spot like that for a reading in the middle of New York City. I'm looking forward to it.

Ray,

Deborah Ager is the one who came up with the Old Stone House venue. It looks good in the photo on the website noted above. See you tonight!
