WORM is a poetry zine distributed by email, then archived permanently on the WORM webpages: www.villarana.freeserve.co.uk/wormhome.htm
The deadline for WORM 38 is 7th December 2006.
Please send up to 5poems,free verse or formal, to: wordbug@btinternet.com
(in the body of an email, not as an attachment).
Previous publication or simultaneous submissions are NOT problems for WORM.
All submissions are forwarded (without authors' names) to my 2 co-editors and selection is made on the basis of our combined scores. My co-editors for WORM 38 are Christine Potter and Nigel Holt.
Any questions, just drop me an email. I know Everything.
Regards,
Margaret
(M.A.Griffiths,
Resident editor)
BTW, I always acknowledge submissions, so if you don't receive an acknowledgement within a few days, don't hesitate to re-submit.

Dear grasshopper:
I just forwarded a copy of WORM to a friend, who replied that she almost didn't open it because of the name.
Maybe you could put something in the opening line to make it sound less like a virus?
Great issue, anyway. Many thanks.

If someone was going to send you an actual email worm, they probably wouldn't put WORM in the subject line, lol.
This is one of your best issues yet, Maz. I love WORM.

Gail,
The subject line says 'WORM 38~~~~Poetry e-zine' I'm not sure what I could add.
But people sending viruses can put any title to an email that they please e.g. 'Completely virus-free message, please open immediately.'As Rose said, I'm sure very few virus emails advertise the fact that they are dangerous.
Of course, the best thing to do if you're not sure of an email is to run a virus check. I'm using Windows XP. I use the AVG anti-virus program, which is completely free and checks my incoming emails for viruses. To double check, rather than run a complete HD check, I find my Inbox folder (which is a dbx file) highlight it, right-click, and am given the option to scan it with AVG.
And I'm sure everyone keeps their virus-protection up-to-date...
Regards, Maz

Maz--
I'm sure you've posted this about a gazillion times, but how does one get on the mailing list?
